Nachos

This popular Tex/Mex dish is often served as a starter between friends or as main meal for one. It is a very quick and filling meal for anyone in a hurry. There are countless toppings and variations of the nacho but the most common starts off with a bowl of corn chips smothered in melted cheese. Toppings including spicy tomato and chilli based salsa, hot peppers like jalapenos, sour cream and guacamole are added. Variations include just about everything from meats, beans, olives, spring onions, and even seafood. Nachos need to be eaten quickly as the golden corn chips soon become mushy under the layers of sauce and cheese.
